Elizabeth Franco was born in Fontana, California and is the proud daughter of immigrants. Franco always had a passion for writing and from a young age recognized the power of media. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in Communication Studies and then attended UCLA Law. While in school, she worked at the ACLU, NBCUniversal, and Escape Artists. After law school, Franco worked at WME in the TV business affairs department and she currently works in development at Vox. Franco is particularly drawn to the creative process of crafting stories with social and political significance, as well as working towards meaningful representation. She currently works at Netflix USA as Manager of the Documentary Division.
